Louis Wynne (pronounced “Louie Win”) is a psychologist and writer.

His books include - Warm Logic: The Art of the Intuitive Lifestyle (co-authored) and Deliver Us From Evil, a novel of international terrorism .

His latest book is Healing the Hurting Soul: A Survival Manual for the Black Sheep in Every Family.

He has also published several articles and book reviews.

Dr. Wynne has been in the independent practice of clinical and consulting psychology for more than 20 years.

He began his career as a psychologist in the US Air Force Systems Command. Then he joined the staff of the University of New Mexico Mental Health Center. Later he became Clinical Director of the New Mexico State Hospital in Las Vegas, NM.

He has also been a bureau chief with the State of New Mexico’s Health and Environment Department in Santa Fe and a surveyor of psychiatric and substance abuse facilities with the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.

In addition to his private practice, he has been a coach and referee of youth soccer and he skis cross-country, shoots trap, and plays the piano (popular songs of the 1940s and 50s).

He was co-editor of Ethical Human Psychology and Psychiatry and is a commissioner on the Citizens Commission on Human Rights-Florida.

He is the recipient of the 2010 Thomas S. Szasz Award given by the Center for Independent Thought, Philadelphia, PA.
